Spongebob Squarepants is a Sponge that lives inside of a Pineapple under the sea.Spongebob is currently employed at the Krusty Crab where he is a cook.
Spongebob's best friend Patrick lives next to him under a rock.

Mr. Crabs
Sandy
Patrick is Spongebob's best friend. Spongebob loves to play games with Patrcick and annoy Squidward.
Part of the reason that they are friends is the fact that Patrick may be the only character in the television series dumber than Spongebob
Mr. Crabs is Spongebob's boss at the Crusty Crab. Spongebob loves and respects Mr. Crabs as a supperior and authoritative figure
Mr. Crabs likes Spongebob because of his work ethic.Sandy lives in the same community as Spongebob and has proved to be a good friend. She helps Spongebob when he gets into trouble.
Sandy is also a regular customer at the Crusty Crab
Plankton
Squidward
Plankton works accross the street from the Crusty Crab at the Chum Bucket. He never has any customers and is jealous of Mr. Crabs.
Plankton is always trying to steal the secret recipt but always fails to do so.
Squidward is Spongebob's other neighbor. Squidward hates Spongebob because he finds him very annoying and childish.
Spongebob does not hate Squidward but Squidward can not stand Spongebob.
Spongebob does not have any real powers that the every day person wouldn't have. One inate ability that he does have is to annoy everyone around him.
Another power Spongebob has is the ability to make children happy. Kids sit and watch the show for hours and are constantly entertained.
